For the Guys: Three Marriage Proposal Suggestions

a proposal in a fall afternoonSo you know it’s finally time to pop the question to your girl. You’ve actually already bought a diamond ring at a jewelry shop in your hometown in Utah and even received both of your parents’ blessing. Now, all that’s left for you to do is plan the proposal. Check out some proposal ideas below.

Something creative

Get your artistic juices flowing and plan a very creative marriage proposal. Writing a song and creating a music video for your girl, for one, can be a great way to ask her to marry you. If you’re quite the computer techie, why not make your love story the plot of a video game? You can also make a flip book that features your relationship’s most meaningful moments and ends with you getting down on one knee.

Something outdoorsy

If you want to catch your girl off guard (in a good way, of course!), go for an outdoor proposal. Plan, for example, a treasure hunt or geocaching for you and your girl to go on, with an engagement ring being the treasure she needs to find. You can also take your girl outdoors under the pretense of teaching her how to fly a drone or a kite to get her to read the proposal your drone or kite will be flying in the sky.

Something simple

Lastly, a simple marriage proposal will always be a great option. This may not be as entertaining or fun but shouldn’t be any less memorable if done right. For instance, you can take your girl out to see a movie or have dinner. Before the night ends, however, find the right time to deliver your speech, get down on one knee, present her the ring, and ask her the all-important question: “Will you marry me?”

Whatever you decide to do, just make sure that your proposal is sincere, meaningful, and romantic. Make sure that your girl will have only one answer for you: “Yes!”
